I don't know if this helps or not but my cousin has traced our Great-Grandparents from East london UK to Colne in Wiltshire via Marlborough and Market Lavington. The first date is the marriage of Robert Dark to Ann Ruddal in 1731. They had either six or eight children in Market Lavington, Mary, Ann, Betty, Sarah, Robert and Thomas and possibly another Thomas and Moses (according to the tree that I possess!). Robert married Betty and they had five children all born in Market Lavington apart from one between 1783 and 1795.
Let me know if this helps. I have more info if required. Mick
