(08/23/2001)Lillian Odel Sluder Darden Lillian Odel Sluder Darden, age 83, of Georgetown, formerly of Amarillo and Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away on August 21, 2001. She is survived by her son, Don Alexander and wife, Beverly, of Austin, Texas; brothers, Edis Sluder and wife, Esther, of Joshua, Texas, and Leonard Sluder and wife, Monah, of Graham, Texas; granddaughters, Jenifer Henthorn and husband, Dave, of Red Oak, Texas, and DeDe Alderman and husband, Skip, of Wichita Falls, Texas; niece, Terri Curry of Austin, Texas; great-niece, Holly Spinks of Austin, Texas; grandson, Tony Rich, of Eastland, Texas; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2001, at Bethany United Methodist Church with the Reverend David Minnich officiating. Interment will take place in Graham, Texas. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Austin, 4107 Spicewood Springs Road, Suite 100, Austin, Texas 78759.
