Thank you for replying to our D'Arcy message.
Your grandfather was Michael D'Arcy from Roscrea. I have no idea who my great grandfathers brothers were but as sure as Ireland is green, he probably had a few brothers and and sisters. He was Tom or Thomas and they certainly came from the the same area i.e. north Tipperary. Our Tom was born about 1820. He came out to Australia during the Great Hunger of 1847. Perhaps others may add to the genforum messages. What part of the world are you from? When did your first D'arcy's leave Ireland? Why? One of our Tom's daughters, Maria, married a Michael Mullins whose family came from northern Tipperary also. small world!
