Good luck with your research, the dates you have given certainly match up, I do not know my grandfathers birth date, only that he was in his 20's when he died of pneumonia. I have not heard of any connection with Galway, but who knows, the Irish seem to have a habit of moving about! My Mother mentioned aunts and uncles, but no names that I can remember. I am sure you have a wonderful time on your visit. Let me know if you find any info.
