I'm glad to see someone started the snowball on Daoust, my GG-Greatmother was a Daoust on both sides of maternal from L'Ile Perrot Que. Can.the original D'Aoust from Picardie France Pierre D'Aoust born abt 1579 married Marie Anne Daverby or Daverdy born abt 1581 had son Nicolas Daoust born 1628 who married Jeanne Aubert born 1630 who had son Guillaume Daoust born 1656, died 08/03/1729 Bellevue Que. married Marie Madeleine Angele Lalonde born 1672 had from my findings 7 children, male names- Guillaume Jean Daoust born 30/10/1694 Lachine Que., Charles Daoust born 16/08/1701 and Louis Daoust born 1712 plus 4 dauthers only have info on 3 I'm decendent of Charles and Louis.
