I am researching an ancestor by the name of
cyrille daoust born oct. 1826 in point claire quebec. His mother was charlotte normandeau. He married adele lanthier on jan. 27, 1845.His father was named joseph daoust fan fan dadet, he was born on dec. 7 , 1778 and joseph's parents names are genevieve brunet and amable daoust (born may 3/1776 in pointe clair quebec). Does any one understand how he could have had the name fan fan dadet added only to his name?
