I have checked the D'Aoust Genealogy Project data base (31, 173 names – 3,480 marriages) and found Angelique D'Aoust, m. Clovis Gereau, Oct-24-1865, Saint Michel de Vaudreuil, Montreal, Quebec; Source: Loiselle Marriage Card Index - Supplement Issue - Registers Catholic Parishes, Quebec

I can trace her family line back to France. It is possible that the female side of the family may / could be North America Indian. But I do not see any evidence of this looking at the names of the females and the parents of the females.
