Looking for the parents of this Barbara Shuler who married WIlliam H. Dantzler (Nov 29, 18081-June 14, 1882), son of Daniel Dantzler and MAry Pou of Orangeburg,SC. Barbara and William had these children:
1. Elvin Pou Dantzler (b Mar 22, 1849)
2. Susannah Rachel Dantzler (b. Nov 16, 1835)
3. Catherine Agnes Dantzler (Dec 12, 1844-Jan 15, 1922)
It is possible that either Catherine or Susannah are not one of this Barbara's daughters. But we know Barbara had to die before October 3, 1857 because that is when her husband, William Dantzler, married again to Elizabeth Shurlknight.
Also, I have found an ANNA BARBARA SHULER (January 19, 1803-May 5, 1834), daughter of Lewis Hayne Shuler and Elizabeth Dantzler. I found her as being married to James Rast. I am not sure if this is the same Barbara Shuler or not. The only other Barbara Shuler I can find was born in 1812 and the records I found did not list the Barbara's husband or children.
So as you can see, I need HELP! This one little bit of information is driving me crazy! I need to know who this Barbara's parents were. If anyone out there knows, please contact me at joy29003@yahoo.com
