Hi Sue,

No, she's not the daughter of William, Sr., BUT, I wonder if she could be a sister. That's very interesting.

I think William Sr., wife was Pamela or Pamelia, something like that. Can't verify.
(His name was spelled Danzzy in the 1790 Kershaw Co., SC census). His children were:

REBECCA - B. 14Dec1802. She married Zacheria Fenley and later Isham Medford. She had moved to Texas but I'm not sure if it was before or after she married Fenley. She's in several books of Texas history.

ELVIRA - M. Wesley Everet

PERMELIA - B. 9Nov1809 M. William Fenley

RICHARD - M. 1) Martha Everett 2) Nancy Ann
Fenley. He and Bryant later moved to Copiah County, MS. and Bryant later moved to Texas.

JOHN - B. Abt. 1797 probably in Kershaw County, S.C. That is where he married Ann DeBruhl. They were my gg grandparents.

WILLIAM, JR. - B. 6Sep1799

BRYANT - moved to MS then to TX.

This bunch moved to Clarke Co., AL. Or at least some of them did. They are also in Henry County and Marengo County.

Maybe we can find out more about Mary Ann Dancy. I've got most of the children of these Danzey's. What do you have?
