Hi there,
My name is David Matthew Dansby and I just happened upon this Dansby thing. I know nothing of my adopted family, except of my grandfather, Robert Dansby from Florida, his two wives, Margaret Dansby and Barbara Dansby (at seperate times, of course) and my step father, Danny Dansby. I do know my grandfather changed his name to Robert Daniel Dansby back in the 30's (I think). I know his mother lived to be 99 years old ( I have fond memories of my nana), but I dont know her name. I do know theyre from Florida somewhere and my grandfather used to work on the railroad. They moved up to Richmond VA in the 40's and thats where we settled. Now, I hope I have the right Dansbys, for I have never met any of the others in all my 30 years ( I also have an aunt Debra, and her last name is now Nunnery and lives in North Carolina) as a Dansby and I am anxious to hear something.
