Hi would be very interested to here more about this. My husband is related to the Dansby's we are not sure of the exact link yet bet his great great grandfather and his wife came to NZ somewhen in the late 1800's. The name here now is Dansby-Scott, think Scott came from a second marriage somewhere. His great-grandfather is John William Dansby-Scott born 1884 we think in either New Mexico or Mexico, not sure of borders then. Place name was given as Rosora but in-laws think should be Sonora. Our name is now Mahoney as John William's son (i.e my husbands grandfather took maiden name of mother and it didn't get changed in time after marriage as mother died soon after. We have been doing much research and are in stuck mode at this generation. My mother in law in Australia has more on the Dansby's back to England also but we can't find the link. Regards
