Just a few months ago I received a copy of the Dansby Coat Of Arms from a cousin. It states that this Coat of Arms is documented in BURKES GENERAL ARMORY. The original description is as follows: AR,Three chevronels braced,in the base point of the escutcheon SA,on a chief of the second three mullets of the first. When translated the blazon also describes the original colors of the Dansby Arms as: Silver: Three black narrow chevrons braces(interlaced)in the base point of the shield:On a black upper third three silver stars. Above the shield and helmet is the crest which is described as : A Gold Scorpion Placed Vertically
