I dug up a little more info, that may help:
I remember someone once mentioning a Jeffrey (so that may or may not be him). My dad (James Edward Danner) was the son of Kay and Jesse Danner. Kay remarried a Dennis Suit (my step-grandpa), but my dad kept his name the same. I believe that Jesse Danner (my dad's biological father) is from North Carolina, though I am not sure what city. I don't know my half-brother's mom's name. I believe that it was in Placer county (or another P-name, but pretty sure it was placer).
This may not lead anywhere, but still thanks in advance for any help.
