Both families are French and Catholic.

Stephen/Steven Julius b. abt. 1856 in New York, died after 1920 before 1930 in Princes Anne(Virginia Beach), Virginia, m. 1878 in New York, to Addie Amelia Denny b. to George Denny and Anne Gonio in 1865 in New York, died in 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia. Figure this marriage out both were Denny's.

There were three to five other children who died at birth or not long after and one set of twins.
Most of this family moved to Norfolk, Virginia abt. 1884. They attended St. Mary' s Catholic Church in Oswego, New York and St. Mary' s Catholic Church in Norfolk, Virginia. They were farmers in New York and Virginia.
