Delima Danis is the daughter of Joseph Danis and Emilie Poudret dit Lavigne. Joseph and Emilie m. 10/1/1842 St. Scholastique, Deux Montagnes, Quebec. Joseph was the son of Alexis Danis b. 1780, m. 1/31/1791 St. Laurent, Ile de Montreal, Q. Alexis is the son of Alexis Danis b. 11/31/1735 m. Agathe Amable Pilon 1/7/1766 Notre Dame de Montreal, Q.

The Danis line goes back to Martin Dany of France in the early 1600's. Most of the rest of the line going back in time can be found on Larry Mandalski's web page.
