It states he was born Jan 13, 1864 in Georgia and that his father was William. Unfortunately it doesn't list the mother's name. It has him dying Jan 5, 1937 in Hereford, TX. and is buried in Hereford on Jan 6. It list the wife as Susie T. Daniels.
Susie's death certificate, also in this same database, shows she was born Jan 16, 1866 in Coryell Co., TX and died May 7, 1936 also in Hereford. She was buried May 8, 1936 again in Hereford. Her father is listed as Wm R. McClain with him also born in Coryell Co. The mother is listed as Sarah Beatrice Dorsey. She is listed as married to J. H. Daniel.

You can also see Sarah's death certificate as well as that of two of Joe and Susie's other children. You can also view three of William McClain's children's DC's as well (they list the mother as a Culpepper).
The family is in the 1900 census under the name Joe Daniels. There it shows Joe's birth as Jan 1854 in Georgia. The 1910 census shows him as getting younger by being age 46 under the initials J.H. He is living two houses from William R. McClain. The 1920 census shows Joseph at age 55 with his birthplace as Tennessee and living next to several McClains. In the 1930 census he is back to Joe who was born in Georgia and his brother-in-law George McClain is living with them.
The 1880 census shows a Joseph Daniels age 16 as the son of William, age 52 and Jane, age 46, of Worth Co., GA. You might try to get Joe's obit to see if it lists any siblings and perhaps their death certificates. It will help you to find the right parents.
