There is a death certificate for Charley Sidney Daniel, b. 13 Jan 1857 in Dallas Co. TX, died 16 May 1923 in Richardson, Dallas Co. TX, burial Mt. Calvary. The death certificate was filled out by the doctor and there are some mistakes, but it is close enough to be your family.
It shows his father to be Francis B. Daniel (should have been an R.), b. VA, and his mother to be Mary Frances Robertson, b. TN. According to census records this is a reversal. Francis R. Daniel(s) was born in TN, and Mary Frances was born in VA.
Frank R. Daniel was in Dallas County TX by the 1860 census, he is indexed as Frank R. Daniel (or Daniels--I don't remember which). Charley S. is age 3.
Do you have access to census records from your computer? If not, I will go back and copy other names on the census.
