Abstracted from "People of the South Wind, History of Wilson County Kansas" Vol. I is this information:

Ida Emmeline Daniels was born 27 November 1864. She was married to Jacob Bell Howe. Ida was the daughter of Robert McLaughlin Daniel/Daniels (the spelling varied). Her mother was Catherine King.

In the 1880 census Jacob and Ida E. Howe are living in Belmont, Woodson County KS, where many of my Daniel relatives located.

Robert McLaughlin Daniel was the brother of my great grandmother, Elizabeth Daniels Rogers. If you believe I have the right Ida (Daniels) Howe, I can provide much more information about her ancestry, siblings, etc.
