I have several Daniels from the state of Vermont. I don't know if there is a connection, but my first Daniels in Vermont is Andrew Daniels(My 2nd great grandfather,) who came from "Shipton C.E." -Whatever that means- He was married to Roxana Emery.

In 1863 they had a son named Nathaniel B. Daniels in Groton VT. He was married to Alice Savory. They had at least two daughters; Eunice (b. 1911- Marshfield VT) and Violet. Does any of this look familiar?
