I no longer think that John and Ester (Dike) Daniels are the parents of my Albert Daniels, though they may be the same family in Groton in 1800. At this point, I believe that John Daniels Jr. (b. ca. 1765, d. after 1850) and his wife Abby (b. ca. 1770, d. 1855 Groton) were the parents of Albert, as well as another son Henry.

I am still searching for Groton Danielses, so your Mary Daniels of Groton -- right time period -- could tie in, eventually. At this point I have not other information, as records are very scant in Groton.
