I am trying to find out a little more about my family tree. My great grandfather Frederick Daniels came over to Britain from Canada after being away at sea in the early 1900's. His father was apparently in the military and was stationed at some kind of fort. He ran away to sea after his French Canadian mother died and his father married again, unfortunately he did not get on with his stepmother. My great grandfather then met my great grandmother, Frances Williams in Wales where my grandfather Edward Frederick Daniels was born. Unfortunately I do not have much to work on as there are no surviving family on that side who can relay the story.
