Well, Reading thru all these messages gives me some sort of comfort, knowing that my Daniels line isn't the only one that is elusive and don't want to be found. My G grandfather, Jasper Daniels 1865-1929, came from the sky I think. His mother, Sarah Jane Malone Daniels,1820-1911, came with him, and made sure of it. They settled near DeRidder, Louisiana, but came from elsewhere. From word of mouth, I have these choices...MS, SC, AL, Missouri, Arkansas, and maybe on up.Who knows?..So, all you Daniels's out there, you aren't alone...:-)
