Dear Maureen:I have been searcing for the family of my ggggrandmother Phebe Daniels for a number of years. She was born ca. 1760 in Rockaway, New Jersey, married David Beach in 1815 in South Gower, Ont. The publication "Beach in Canada" states that the family thought that she was related to the Daniels family of Prescott, Ont. Have you had any contact with the Daniels of Prescott? I have traced several Daniels in Rockaway who seem to have migrated in company with the Beach family to Willsboro, Essex Co. NY and later to Plattsburgh NY, but cannot make a link to Phebe.
