I have no idea if this could be a lead. I responded to your query because of the name Lenard Daniels. Otherwise I had not considered Kentucky since my leads on this family were Ohio but I searched Ohio vital records (2 Broderbund CDs) and there was no record of Lenard and Ruth Daniels so there is always a possibility that they were in Ohio for only a short period of time and possibly their one child, Esther, was born while they were migrating elsewhere. The 1860 census only stated that Esther was born in Ohio but not the county and her parents' names were the only information on Esther's marriage certificate when she lived in Wisconsin.
