The line of Robert Daniell (b. 1645/1646 d. 1718) of South Carolina and North Carolina is well documented. Although his parents have not been identified, he could not possibly have been a son of Roger Daniell Jr. of York Co. Virginia as has been claimed for he was already in Charleston when Roger's son was supposed to still be in VA. There was also a Robert Daniell of Middlesex Co. VA, but he was a son of William Daniell of Middlesex Co. VA.
