I am currently tracing the Daniell family of Truro, Cornwall and latter of Trelissick, Cornwall from around 1750 to date.
As yet i haven't found an Elizabeth Ann but wonder if the following might tie in :
I have a Ralph Allen Daniel who married Sarah Mawhood in Bath in 1814 and I think they were the parents of Thomas Edmund Daniell who was christened on 5 April 1818 at Woodbury, Devon (near Sidbury and Sidmouth). They had more children but as yet have not traced where they were born. There are many Ralph Allen Daniell's throughout the various lines of this Daniell family. The original Ralph Allen Daniell being so named after his great-uncle Ralph Allen (Allen being the surname) who became one of the most important personages connected with Bath and its development during the Georgian period. (It is from this area that I have become involved in the Daniells).
Have you looked at the IGI for Devon? I had a quick look and found that there are a number of Daniel items relating to SIDBURY - but no Elizabeth Ann. Here's a few
DANIEL, Elizabeth - d/o Joseph Daniel and Rhoda c 14/1/1791 Sidbury
DANIELL, Edward s/o Wm Daniell and Mary , c 16/1/1799
DANIELL, Charlotte, d/o Joseph D and Hannah Carter c 12/6/1810
DANIELS, Betty Carter d/o the above c 27/3/1808
Ann Daniell married Wm Simmons, 26 Jan 1808
etc.
Can you get hold of the IGI - or I could go on through the rest and extract the Sidbury only ones for you...
If you have any information on my Truro etc connections I should be pleased to hear.
