Thanks, but I don't think this is the one. His name was actually spelled Culvin, and for all my wife knows (which is very little!!) he lived either in KY or Arkansas. And he was probably not that old, but then again, she knows so little about him that she doesn't even know when he was born. His wife, Ara Belle Hurtt was born in 1886, I think. She remarried up here in Ohio. Any info you have regarding the Daniel lineage would be much appreciated, since my wife knows almost nothing about her Dad's ancestry.
