Does anyone have info on this couple who had a number of children on the 1850 census of Sumter Co., AL in 1850? Children were Sara 1831 NC, Elizabeth 1835, NC, Tempy 1838 NC, Mary Ann 1839 NC, Nancy J. 1840 AL, Isaac 1843 AL, Caroline 1846 AL, and William J., 1850 AL. Shurely with all these children, someone is looking for them. Nancy was a sister of our ancestor Gulford Parker of Edgecombe Co., NC. We need info on this line. It would seem that Sara, age 80 in household with William R. Parker 29, NC in 1850 census was her mother and mother of our Guilford Parker b. 1815 Edgecombe Co., NC as well as possibly Lancaster Parker of Edgecombe with whom Guilford sold land about 1840 in Edgecombe Co., Nc. They all lived close together in 18/50 Sumter Co., AL. Next door or nearby neighbors. Also Robbins and Barnes families of NC. Must be some connection.
We have other family to share.
