here is some information i found in a book, "essex probate index", concerning an esther dane who died in 1770:

first date: 27 nov. 1770
name: esther dane
(late) residence: ipswich, mass.
occupation: N/A
document type: int=intestate
i am hoping this may be esther (kimball) dane, widow of nathaniel dane (died in 1760), who was mother of his last six children: ephraim & esther (twins), abigail, martha, esther, and nehemiah. his eldest children by his first wife died young: nathaniel and elizabeth; his second wife's children are: elizabeth (my ancestor), nathaniel, edward, anna, mary, francis, and israel.
