Mary Jane Finlay (nee Dane), Newtown Ards
I believe this Mary Jane Finlay was married to William Finlay, a farmer, probably from the Killade area of Antrim, Ireland.
They had two sons, William John, born 1845, and Alexander.
The father was killed in an accident about 1857.
William John (my Grandfather) left Ireland and settled in Australia.
Alexander went to North America.
The public death record in Dublin only has
"District of Newtownards Ireland
22 Feb 1900 Zion Place, Newtownards
Mary Jane Finlay Widow age 82 years Proprietor of Houses"
however the LDS site has
