According to Homer Eiler's "Our Ancestors" published in 1928, Nickatira Dancy married Jacob Russell and had four children:
Robert Russell (no other information known)
Sarah Russell b. abt. 1866, m. A. L. Blazer in abt. 1885, and they had two children: Blanche, b. abt. 1887, and Ora, b. abt. 1889. (no other information known)
Frank Russell b. 1870 in Barry Co. MO, m. Rose Alpers in 1902, two children: Kenneth Barnes b. 24 Oct. 1904 and Alice Arvesta b. 22 Dec 1907. This family was then living in LeRoy, Illinois.
Gus Russell b. abt. 1874 in Barry Co. MO. No other information other than he was married at least twice and then living in southern Missouri or Arkansas.
Eiler also writes, "Nickatira died in 1876, and is buried in the Dancy family lot in Corsicanna, Mo. The husband remarried, but no later records of him have been found."
