I just learned from the 1930 census that Jefferson Dancy, born in 1907 in Canada was a negro male 23 years of age. He was also married to Jenny Dancy. However the document shows they lived in St. Louis. This is a story never told to me by my dad or family, and since my dad is deceased does anyone have additional info about black Dancy's in Canada?
