Am also looking for Dancy/Dancey family who originated in Garrard County, Kentucky. Have found a Frank L. with Nathaniel Dancy in Bureau County, Illinois. He was born Indiana while Nathaniel's children were born Kentucky. Am thinking he must be a nephew but don't know where the connection is. He married my ancestor's sister in Labette County, Kansas and later moved to Logan County, Oklahoma, during or after the Land Rush.
Would love to compare notes and information. Have read that some Dancy/Danceys came from NC to Kentucky and then moved west. Intermarried with Sartain and Wright in Kentucky and later again in Kansas. Am trying to find all three surnames in Illinois and Kentucky.
