Looking for family and information on Frank L. Dancy (Franklin) and Helen V. (Nellie) Wright and their three daughters: Daisy, Edna and Bertha. Daisy was a school teacher, Bertha was a milliner and Edna married Clyde Hyde. Helen V. (Nellie) Wright was the daughter of James Casey Wright and Caroline Elaine Sartain. Caroline died shortly after her son Freddy was born and died. They are buried in Chetopa, Labette County, Kansas. James Casey Wright took off and whereabouts are unknown. Helen had three surviving sisters, Cora, Minnie and Lulu who married George Morgan. They showed up with the Dancy family in census records shortly after Nellie and Frank married. The Dancys and the Morgans went to Guthrie, Logan County, Oklahoma, lived near each other and raised families there. Helen was the oldest and Lulu the youngest of the surviving Wright children. The families originally came from Kentucky and Sartains and Wrights went to Bath, Mason County, Illinois before coming to Kansas. Sartains, Wrights and Dancys may have had connections in Kentucky in earlier generations. Would like to correspond with anyone with information on these families.
