JOHN R. DANCY
John Rufus Dancy, 74, died Nov. 29, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church near Leggett with the Rev. Eddie Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Dancy was a retiree of the Town of Tarboro.
He is survived by three daughters, Janice Faye Powell, Barbara Dancy and Patricia Sharpe, all of Tarboro; six sons, Johnnie Powell, John, Bruce, Danny and Michael Dancy, all of Tarboro and Felix Dancy of Zebulon; three sisters, Annie M. Bryant and Loubertha Allen, both of Tarboro and Pearlie Dancy of New York; a brother, William Dancy of New York; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 2-7 p.m. Saturday at Dickens Funeral Service.

QUEEN NORFLEET
SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- Queen Norfleet, 61, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church, Princeville with Rev. Marvin Wilkes officiating.
A wake will be held from 7-8 p.m. Friday at Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Princeville.

CONNIE W. PRICE
Connie Wiggins Price, 47, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Coggin officiating.
Price was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Blake Wiggins.
She is survived by daughters, Stacy Price Whitehurst and husband Art of Tarboro and Carmen Price Andrew and husband Stephen of Tarboro; father, Alton Wiggins of Tarboro; a sister, Joan Wiggins Summerlin and husband Jerry of Rocky Mount; a brother, Harrell Wiggins and wife Eileen of Freeport, Il; grandchildren, Ashley Blake Whitehurst and Taylor Nicole Andrews; Special friend, William Henry Price of Tarboro.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tonight and other times at the home of Stacy and Art Whitehurst in Tarboro.
