Want to find a FRANK DANCY, Justice of Peace in Giles Co Tn/Madison Co Ala area in 1830. Have documents showing he performed ceremony on a marriage license issued in Morgan Co. Ala in Feb 1830 to JAMES McCANLESS and MARGARA A. GARRISON. The license was never returned to Morgan Co for filing. Documents do not say WHERE the marriage ceremony was performed. The couple had 1st child in Tn before settling in Marshall Co Ala. Want to know WHERE they were married.
