Amelda Mae Dancy (Meldy) was my grandmother's grandmother. Amelda was married to John Wesley Stidoms. I have recently found out that she had a daughter, Oma, before she married John Wesley Stidoms, b. 1851. I have been told who Amelda's father was--I just don't have the info on me now--possibly a Neil Dancy. I'm trying to find out more info on Oma. I don't know if she went by her mother's maiden name, Dancy or her mother's married name, Stidoms. Also, Meldy had a sister or cousin, Sarah Dancy who married her husband's brother, Leander Stidoms. Thanks!
