I am researching my husbands family tree and I have rently traced his ancestor to Stanton Worcs. He was born in 1800 and in 1820 he joined the Royal Marines in Plymouth. He had several children and the family moved from Plymouth to Gloucestershire and then to Wiltshire over the next 200 years. His name was Joseph Dance and one of his sons born in 1827 was named John George and he moved to Chipping Campden and was a policeman in 1851 at Chipping Campden.Perhaps you could contact me if this is of any interest to you. June
