Hi: Are you a collector of Dana genealogy because you are a Dane (Dawney)? My grandmother was Amelia Catherine Dana, born in Trenton, New York. Hers is the last name in the Dana Family Genealogy book which is in our local library. She married Clarence S. Rush and they lived in Camden, New York. Her brother, George Walter Dana was a prominent businessman in Camden. He married Eleanor Chambers who was also a Dana but I don't know that lineage. I believe we are descendents of Benjamin Dana who was one on the many sons of, I believe, Richard Dana who came to United States and settled in New England. We have tried to keep the name alive by giving one child from each generation the name. Would love to hear more from you. As you can see....I'm the name bearer in my generation (68 yrs.) and I'm interested in the "English connection"
