There is a ASA DANA listed in the "Madison County- Early settlers" Book,(New York)
DANA, ASA Supervisor of Fenner (then Smithfield). 1808. Member of Assembly 1811, Supervisor of Lenox 1815-16 Bought 80 acres lot 49 in 3rd Allotment Nov. 1 1800. Veteran Rev. War. On Veteran Census Roll in 1840. Died Oct. 12 1845 aged 91. Wife Eunice died Oct 1827 aged 72. Both are buried on Mutton Hill in Fenner.
