Looking for Dana relatives and history

Dear Faith:My 2nd great-grandmother was Mary Frances Dana, daughter of James Dana and Permelia/Parmelia Edgerly. It seems that from each generation after Mary, the family wanted to make sure that the Dana's wouldn't be forgotten, therefore named their children, male OR female, first or middle name, Dana. I broke the chain and didn't continue the tradition. I didn't know about the Dana Family line until all of my children had already been named.
Several years ago I had the pleasure of travelling to Salt Lake City, spending several days going through records there at their Family History Library. On the main floor are all of the family books that people have donated over time, including one on the Dana's as well as the Edgerly's. Unfortunately, my 2nd great-grandmother is not listed in the Dana book due to the time stamp of when the book was compiled. However, her parents are mentioned in the Edgerly book.
Let me know if you have any questions or would like to share some information.
Dana Wheeler
