Merrill,

You have a copy of the Dana book -- have you looked at page 531? There is a Thomas Dana, born in Springfield, VT on March 2, 1811 -- could this be the one you're looking for or are you sure of the date?

I can provide some limited information on my line in the Dana family if this person is still trying to put together an update to the Dana Book.
