Beldon was born 18 Apr 1881 in Pike County, Kentucky and died 15 Jul 1957 in Pike County, Kentucky. He married Nannie Marrs on 24 Dec 1914 at the home of the bride in Pike County, Kentucky. Nannie was born 9 Oct 1882 in Pike County, Kentucky and died 21 Sep 1966 in Pike County, Kentucky. They are both buried in the Thompson Cemetery on Chloe Creek in Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky
Beldon was the son of William Damron and Sarah Ann Compton and Nannie was the daughter of Henry Harmon Marrs and Virginia Edmonds.
Beldon and Nannie had three children:
Bernard H. - b. 28 Feb 1916 in Pike County, KY d. 3 Apr 1988
Virginia Ann - b. 28 Dec 1918 in Pike County d. 2 Sep 1999
Robert Rush - b. 23 Dec 1920 in Pike County d. 16 Feb 1962
