Thanks.We have no idea what the C.C. stands for.The man disappeared about 100 years ago.I cannot find a link between him and the other Damrons/Damerons of Bell Co or TX, despite years of trying.My intuition is that he was related to Damrons/Damerons from KY or from the MD/VA area, but I don't know that for fact.C.C. appeared as Dameron on the records of his marriage, but after 25 years of teaching school, I place little reliance on anyone's spelling!
