I would love sharing everything I have. I've not only researched the Dametz/Horn famiiy but also the Coffin/Stephens family.

The DaMetz family is clearly from Germany. If there is Holland somewhere in there, it is past where I've been able to research.

I found that those who lived through WWI and WWII would often (in the census' and in family traditions) claim (and passed on to their children) that their families came from ANYPLACE except Germany. That could be where the Holland statement came from.


That might not be the case here, but you and I are reaching back about 175 years to Francis Maxmillian's birth!!! Wow...that is incredible to think about.
