Damesworth/Damewood Connection??
Posted by: Bill Dahnke Date: February 23, 2001 at 11:50:44

Is there a connection between the Damesworth family of Humphreys Co.,TN and the Daimwood/Damewood family of Robertson Co.,TN? I was under the impression that these were two unrelated families. THere was a John Fiser(ca 1808-ca 1885?) who moved to Humphreys Co. from Robertson Co.,TN about 1835. He married Holland Damesworth (ca 1812-ca 1875?). John's parents were Joseph Fiser and Anna Margaretha Stoltz. John had an uncle Jacob Fiser(1783-1863) who married Mary M. Tamewood/Damewood.
