Most of the Amherst Damerys can from Saint John and worked either for the Intercolonial Railroad & Steamship Company,they were there during the first World War as both Perley Williston from Chatham and his cousin Charles J. went to Amherst to join in the Great Adventure. Perley came back,Charles was killed at Ypres,Belgium in 1916,he is my grandfather.
