I have just recently come across a partial muster sheet on the internet listing a Richard Damery on the rolls of the 22nd Massachussets Infantry during the Civil War. The 22nd was later disbanded at the end of their three year commitment and those who re-upped were folded into the 32nd Mass. Richard may or may not have been one of these (the records aren't clear).

Has anyone else come across this? If so do you know who this was? Was it John's (16th CT) brother, and James' (1797) son, who later moved to Blue Mound IL? Or is it another branch of the family.
