Dameron Family Genealogy Forum

Good ideas Allen. I'm not sure if we will ever determine the Lincoln Damerons direct line. Perhaps a DNA test could offer some hope if there are enough males to test.
Based on a newspaper article that a brother of Aaron went to Tn or TX I offer my George Franklin Dameron as being that person. George married Mary Anne Kizer in Gaston Co. And later moved to Henderson Co TN, my line. Ann and her young son Jonus Dameron are buried in the Kizer-Mckee Cemetary in Gaston Co. George is six houses from Rnadolph and John Dameron on the 1850 census. Randolph age25 and Susan J age 19 is with Nancy Stowe. George Dameron did sell two parcels of land in Gaston but I have not researched enough to determine who he bought them from or if they were his wifes.
The Ann Dameron that m Wm Gregory 1829 Gaston and the Cynthia m David Glenn 1839 may also be connected to this family. Ann could be the daughter mentioned on George Dameron's Rev. War pension papers.Hope this is a starting point for discussion.
