The 1870 census for Hancock Co, Illinois lists Emmanuel Damerell, wife Catherine and 6 sons:
1) Emmanuel, age 24 (my 2nd great grandfather)
2) Robert, 20
3) William, 18
4) Henry, 16
5) Edward, 13
6) Norman, 8 (full name may be John Norman)
Four of the boys moved at some point to Crawford and/or Neosho counties in Kansas (Emmanuel, Robert, Henry and Edward). One of the sons apparently moved to Bozeman, Montana. Don't know what happened to Robert or to Norman.
Looking for info on all the boys.
